Ron Paul supporters bring about change at county convention
From: The Tuttle Times (Chickasha, OK)
Title: Ron Paul supporters bring about change at county convention
CHICKASHA — It was standing room only at the traditionally quiet Grady County Republican Convention on Monday night in Chickasha.
With many of the new faces in the crowd sporting Ron Paul t-shirts and ball caps, it was obvious what caused the increase in attendance.
The Ron Paul supporters came to the meeting with the intent of being named as delegates to the Oklahoma fourth district convention and the state convention, where they hope to help send like-minded delegates to the national GOP convention later this year.
Matt Burke, Grady County coordinator for the Ron Paul campaign, alerted fellow Paul supporters to the date and time of the county convention and stressed the importance of signing up to be a delegate.
Burke and his wife, Michelle, who live in Blanchard, have been in contact with the Ron Paul campaign and county Paul supporters and undecideds. They also run a Facebook page for the candidate, "Grady County, OK for Ron Paul."

Howard Fineman, TV Commentator for MSNBC does not know if the Iraq War was a mistake and claims he never offered an opinion on the subject. In 10 years of doing Hardball, Chris Matthews was not able to convince him. All I needed was 10 minutes but he would not talk about it. Instead, he wanted to get revenge for having been exposed.
How to Remove Your Google Search History Before Google's New Privacy Policy Takes Effect
https://www.eff.org/deeplinks/2012/02/how-remove-your-google...
On March 1st, Google will implement its new, unified privacy policy, which will affect data Google has collected on you prior to March 1st as well as data it collects on you in the future. Until now, your Google Web History (your Google searches and sites visited) was cordoned off from Google's other products. This protection was especially important because search data can reveal particularly sensitive information about you, including facts about your location, interests, age, sexual orientation, religion, health concerns, and more. If you want to keep Google from combining your Web History with the data they have gathered about you in their other products, such as YouTube or Google Plus, you may want to remove all items from your Web History and stop your Web History from being recorded in the future.
Today's Ron Paul Moment
So today I was in my econ class. There are about 400 people in this class. My econ teacher is a die-hard Keynesian, and he said, "If Ron Paul had his way, we would have no taxes, and the government would shut down!"
I was sitting next to my sister who was also taking the class, and I stood and said, "There are other ways to fund government besides the income tax, which is what Paul wants to get rid of. We have only had an income tax for a hundred years out of three-hundred years, maybe we should be in a history class."
The teacher was left completely speechless and the class jeered and cheered.

Ron Paul 2012
It does not require a majority to prevail, but rather an irate, tireless minority keen to set brush fires in people's minds.
- Samuel Adams
My delegate candidacy has been challenged - Indiana
So I followed what I thought were all of the instructions for filing for my candidacy to be a delegate for my precinct here in Johnson County. Well, I received a call from the courthouse yesterday...apparently I neglected to file a form with the County Chairman that he requires due to my lack of experience and history with the Republican party. There's a public hearing on Friday February 24 to discuss my candidacy. Anyone can speak on my behalf, and I can speak for myself, but I'll be in Chicago this weekend! And I can't reschedule.
I'm pretty frustrated. They're right...I don't have a history with the Republican party, but I don't have a history with either party. I just turned 23 and I want to get more involved than I was four years ago. In 2008, I was Paul supporter, but I was 19 and didn't get registered in time for the primary.
I just wonder if I'm being called out because I'm 23 and a presumed Paul supporter. In fact, I probably wouldn't have even known about it in time had I not been called. The woman on the phone said they sent out a letter, but because of the short amount of warning I would have if I got the letter in time, she felt like she needed to call me even though they usually don't call.
I hope this isn't happening elsewhere. And I hope there are supporters in Johnson County who are making it through this hoop.

Fed Exposed On Phoenix Radio
On Monday, I was driving through Phoenix, AZ, listening to financial news radio. I nearly wrecked my truck when I heard this informational crash course on the scam that is the Federal Reserve. This was broadcast across the Phoenix metro area during rush hour. Though no mention was made of Ron Paul, the breakdown of the Fed was every bit as complete as his analysis.
Hopefully, some of the listeners will hear the similarity of the host’s words in Dr. Paul's debate performance on the 22nd. Maybe it will culminate into a good turnout for Ron Paul in the Arizona GOP primary on the 28th.

Salute the New Camouflaged Warriors in the Grand Old Party
Conservative Republican values—I remember them well from my rural, independently-minded Idaho upbringing: limited government, personal liberty and responsibility, fiscal restraint, and respect for human life, right? As proof of my dyed-in-the-wool Republican childhood, Reagan’s portrait had such a prominent place on my family’s mantle I always assumed he was one of our uncles. When George W. Bush changed his address to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, I was squarely in the middle of a growing young voter demographic. That’s when I got to know the heavy-hitting Grand Old Republicans in the behemoth states of California and Texas.
It has since taken me a decade to realize that the GOP is run by three types of people: busy-bodied heifers who dominate others through gossip and intimidation, their emasculated sidekicks who meekly fall in line, and shrewd business people who have figured out how to game the system for personal profit, prestige or, if they’re exceptionally shrewd, both.
OUR Mistakes in covering the Troops March
I would first like to preface this post by saying that I deliberated for a considerable period over whether or not to make this post. I did not want my points to be misconstrued as negative or critical. In the end I decided to post, hoping that all those involved (directly or indirectly) are mature enough to take this for what it is...an experienced media persons advice and brief of lessons to be learned.
Please take it in this vein as this is the only intention.

We knew before hand, and as we expected, the MSM had little or no coverage of this historic event. As far as I am aware, there was no "LIVE" coverage at all. And only a few precious mentions after the fact. The liberty movement expected this and made some attempts to offer an alternative.
The alternatives were live streams by participants at the event. The participants armed with smart phones and wireless laptops sent streams to the internet so those around the world could view the event "LIVE". Others had similar devices in addition to camcorders and still cameras to document the event, but did not send any live streams.
In the days and weeks leading up to this event, I sent numerous emails, made numerous forum posts, Facebook (event page) comments and tweets soliciting anyone who was going to be in attendance to contact and coordinate with me in order to arrange MULTIPLE streams and feeds of the event.
How Ron Paul is Unifying American Voters
The typical scenario of a presidential election cycle: Candidates clashing over left vs. right. Politicians making promises they never keep. Flip flops. Political scandals. All this inspires resentment of politics; and many people decide not to have anything to do with it.
This election season has been no different. But when we look at the republicans running for president, there is one who strikes a different chord. Only one has a consistent voting record aligned with principle. Only one seems foreign to the political game. His name is Ron Paul.
Interestingly, he has managed to gain traction with demographics traditionally considered democrat strongholds. Out of all the other republicans running he has the most support from young people and minorities. Even progressives jump into his camp, attracted by his stance on foreign policy and civil liberties. Ron Paul has significant support from independents.

★ Ron Paul Patriot Nation ★
Hello!
What have you done for the Ron Paul campaign?!
Did you make a huge sign? Did you cover your car in bumper stickers? Did you spend hours canvasing? Did you donate to the campaign again and again?
Ron Paul Patriot Nation is a new website that is designed to build support for Ron Paul by showcasing the support that he already has. People have come up with some amazing and creative ways to help the Ron Paul 2012 campaign and we'd like to preserve all those things to inspire the rest of the country.
The point is to collect and harness the energy and excitement that comes from the grassroots. So many people do great things and post links to photos of them on sites like this, but they go by fast and get lost in the shuffle. They now have a home!
Although it is fun, this is a real campaign strategy. We need to build more momentum and the grassroots is crucial. Let's get existing supporters to inspire new supporters with all they have done.
I posted a link to this site a couple of weeks back asking for some feedback and I would like to send a big thank you to all those people that submitted "good deeds" early for testing.
Each person that uses the site can accumulate Ron Paul 2012 "good deeds" that correspond to the ways in which they support the campaign. That includes everything big and small, from a bumper-sticker to a hot-air balloon to volunteering to be a delegate.

Should I still work a job I hate?
I'm 26 and graduated from school a little while ago, but the job I'm working in for this big company for the past few months I really dislike. It is a lot different than what I studied in school, which I actually enjoyed. The only plus side is that it offers good benefits and everything, but my supervisor is constantly yelling at me for everything I do wrong, and I don't have much of anything in common with the people I work with. The job itself is repetitive and making me go crazy. I can't go back to school to do something else, because I already have too much student loan debt, so should I just continue to be miserable and keep working? Buying silver and gold with my money or what?
Even Defense Contractors Support Ron Paul For President
Much has been made of the fact that Ron Paul is the choice of the troops, having received more donations from active duty military personnel than all the other GOP candidates combined, as well as Obama. However, new figures also show that Ron Paul is favored among people who work in the defense sector.
U.S. Federal Election Commission (FEC) contribution records analyzed by Defense News reveal that Paul received both the most contributions and the largest total amount of cash among Republican candidates from employees of the world’s top 100 defense companies.
$177,413.39 was donated to to Paul’s campaign by defense employees in 2011, with a total of 824 individual contributions, meaning an average of $215.31 per person.
That figure is the highest any GOP candidate received from defense workers at companies such as Boeing, Deloitte and Lockheed Martin.

"Satan is attacking the great institutions of America, using those great vices of pride, vanity, and sensuality as the root to attack all of the strong plants that has so deeply rooted in the American tradition."
